Advocacy Committee Member – Shaping the Future of Healthcare Advocacy. Are you passionate about making a difference in healthcare policy? Do you have a keen interest in advocating for positive change in legislation that directly impacts patient care? If so, we invite you to join our Advocacy Committee and play a significant role in shaping the future of healthcare advocacy.
As a member of the Advocacy Committee, you will:
Collaborate with our Government Affairs Liaison in Sacramento:
Work closely with our dedicated Government Affairs Liaison to stay informed about legislative developments, understand their implications for our organization, and strategize effective advocacy efforts.
Build Connections with Advocacy Leaders/Staff from Other Partners/Organizations:
Foster relationships with advocacy leaders and staff from other healthcare organizations. By developing a network of like-minded individuals, you’ll contribute to a collective effort to advance policies that positively impact patients and healthcare providers.
Provide Insight and Recommendations on Legislation:
Utilize your expertise and knowledge to analyze proposed legislation and its potential effects on patient care. Offer valuable insights and recommendations to the committee regarding the positions the organization should take on specific legislative matters.
